Privacy

This site collects nothing. There is no account to make, no analytics script, and no cookie. The one form is a password field on a single page, and it is checked inside your browser: what you type there is never sent anywhere. Nobody on the team can tell that you were here.

That is less a policy than a description of how the site is built. It is a stack of static files, and every font it uses is served from the same place the pages are, so opening one does not hand your address to a type foundry or an ad network.

The host is the exception, and only in the way every host is one. The site sits on GitHub Pages, whose servers record the requests they answer: an IP address, the page asked for, the time. We never see those logs and cannot query them. What GitHub does with them is covered by GitHub's own privacy statement.

The drivetrain calculator writes your last configuration to your browser's local storage so the numbers are still there when you come back. That stays on your machine. Clearing site data for this domain deletes it.

Links to Instagram and YouTube are ordinary links. Follow one and you are on their site under their rules, and neither of them tells us who arrived.

Email us and we have your email address. Those messages sit in the team's Gmail and we use them to write back. Nobody gets added to a list.

The roster shows students' names and photographs, published with their permission. If you are on it and want your photo or your name gone, write to gnceonyx@gmail.com. It comes down on the next deploy and you do not have to give a reason.

Anything else about this page goes to the same address.
